Objectives

1. To monitor real time earthquake activities on 24 x 7 basis by establishing Central Recording station (CRS) in the Kurukshetra University consisting of seismological network of Broad band stations.
2. To do research on Seismic hazard Microzonation for preparing hazard and shake maps of the region.
3. To understand earthquake source processes.
4. To do Geophysical and Geotechnical Investigations.
5. Public outreach- To spread awareness about earthquakes and its impact among students and society by connecting schools, colleges and Universities in Haryana.
